Chicago Mall is explicitly named in the sequel’s store copy. Do not confuse it with the original game’s abandoned Detroit mall or with supermarket, which is mentioned separately in a sequel patch announcement. Similar setting words are not proof of identical maps.
Learn the layout in a custom match
When exploring, note each entrance to the space you want to control and whether an alternative route reaches its far side. Practice taking one angle at a time instead of exposing yourself to several openings while moving toward the objective.
Chain Snatch is a useful way to think about pickup safety: the place where an opponent falls may still be covered by another player. Check the approach before collecting a chain and ask a teammate to watch the angle you cannot cover.
Map evidence and image context
