How the mode scores
Steam describes points earned from turf your gang holds. The objective is sustained control. An elimination matters when it clears a route, protects a teammate or keeps opponents off territory; it is not the complete win condition.
Make your next round count
Before pushing, identify which territory your side already controls and where help is needed. Defend a position you can support, then rotate when your team has enough cover. Repeatedly sprinting alone toward a defended objective can trade lives without improving control.
In a bot match, practice two approaches to the same objective and note the cover available before entering. Then repeat with a teammate holding the other approach. This is a suggested practice drill; capture radii, scoring intervals and match limits still need current-build verification.
Practice and rule checks
A good first-round question is “did our position keep earning territory points?” Watch the objective display, and separate a productive defense from standing far away while an opponent contests. We do not publish a fixed optimal number of zones without observing the map and scoring rules.
